Henry Torres (Mexico) studied dance at the José Limon School of Dance in Sinaloa, Mexico, and at the Mazatlan School of Contemporary Dance under the direction of Delfos Dance Company. He has received fellowships from the Sinaloa State Foundation for Culture and Arts: Individual Development in 2001 and as Young Creator in 2004. Mr. Torres was awarded the national fellowship of Mexico Fund for Culture and Arts for dance interpreter in 2003, and as choreographer in 2005. He was recognized for Best Choreography at the II Culiacan Contest of Choreography.  In 2002, he became a founding member of Lux Boreal Contemporary Dance Company, where he serves as interpreter and choreographer.
